I have written for nonprofits, news organizations, and educational institutions. My expertise is in writing engaging, thought-provoking, and funny pieces. Over time, I have built up expertise in a variety of arenas. I have written a column for a weekly newspaper with both a printed and online presence, done curriculum development and taught courses in political science, Spanish, and college success, supervised programs in corporate training, lifelong learning, adult education, and prison education, worked in international, grassroots development, and completed policy work and service delivery for the homeless, HIV/AIDS, mental health, and substance abuse arenas. I have lived in seven states, six countries, and the District of Colombia.
